Read how we keep our residents healthy for National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month, a time to celebrate and highlight healthy eating, which means we at The Capstone at Station Camp Senior Living are taking a moment to highlight all we do to make sure each of our residents lives as healthy a life as possible.

With our Elevate® dining program, we celebrate healthy eating every day. Each community has an experienced chef focused on creating the best culinary experience for each of our residents. Here’s how we utilize the ideals of National Nutrition Month every single day:

  1. Balanced meals: Our in-house chefs prepare fresh, delicious meals from scratch, so our residents can rest easy knowing each meal will be healthy, nutritious and delicious.
  1. Dietary preferences: Elevate® dining can accommodate nearly any dietary restriction or preference. No matter the request, our chefs can prepare any tailored meal for our residents. Residents are also able to request certain meals and share their favorite recipes with our chef using our Traditions to Table program.
  1. Mental health: Healthy eating is also about improving mental health. With Elevate® dining, our residents won’t have to worry about grocery shopping, cooking or cleaning ever again! Mealtimes are also a great way to be social, hang out with other residents, or invite friends and family to join.
  1. Physical activity: Eating good food leads to having more energy. Our Vibrant Life® program allows our residents to participate in various activities, including our Chef’s Academy, which includes exhibition cooking, education presentations and even resident cook-offs!
